It has been one year since I last posted a Blog. So much has happened. I have met many new friends and coworkers. I have listen to countless stories and tales of life in general. Last year was a year of change for me.
But as I have looked on into different peoples lives I find that it all seems the same. I listen to friends stories of their kids and marriages. I watch as the world turns, so many things change but stay consistently the same. Seems every single person is seeking the truth but the truth can be deceptive if you can't face reality or is it that everyone's truth is distorted depending on their own perception of things.
Last year around the time of this writing Trayvon Martin was in the news having been gunned down on the stand your ground law. The killer was acquitted. This year Mike Brown was gunned down by a Police officer and in between this time many other have been gunned down by police officers or what I may call Vigilantes. The people seem passive other than tearing up their own neighborhoods. A pivotal election took place in our country and these same people out protesting and burning churches didn't make it to the polls but there were record numbers of sales on Black Friday. That's a real thinking moment.
There is really no way that I can even begin to write about how I feel about all of this because if you really take a long objective look at it you can see how simple a solution could be but of course Human's make everything so complicated.
I stand strongly in my "Here & Now" There really is nothing else in this life but the comfort of change.
